Using HemaClear® for knee replacement surgery is very easy to use, and is very effective in creating a bloodless surgical field. It is also very easy to remove at the appropriate time. Using HemaClear® eliminates the need for and transportation of tourniquet machines and tourniquets. This is beneficial for medical missions to reduce cargo shipping costs which are usually based on weight. We found them very useful and effective for total knee replacements. We recommend them to anyone doing surgeries which require a tourniquet.
